Role Description
The Lead Design Architect will oversee the conceptualization and development of architectural designs, guiding projects from early visioning through detailed design and coordination. This full-time, on-site role is based in Hyderabad and involves leading design teams, reviewing drawings, and ensuring that all design solutions meet functional requirements, aesthetic goals, and sustainability standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing and supervising construction drawings, managing design workflows, collaborating with engineers and consultants, and aligning project deliverables with client expectations and regulatory guidelines. The Lead Design Architect will also mentor junior designers, participate in design reviews, and support continuous improvement of Voxela’s design processes and best practices.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Architecture and Architectural Design skills, with experience leading complex projects from concept to completion.
- Candidates should possess Design Management skills, including team leadership, coordination of multidisciplinary inputs, and oversight of design documentation.
- Candidates should possess proficiency in Construction Drawings, including detailing, code compliance, and coordination with structural, MEP, and other disciplines.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills for collaborating with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams.
- Professional degree in Architecture (B.Arch or M.Arch) from an accredited institution.
- Demonstrated experience in modern and sustainable design practices; exposure to green building standards is an advantage.
- Proficiency in industry-standard design and documentation tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, BIM platforms, and visualization software).
- Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and capacity to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Relevant professional licensure or registration, where applicable, is preferred.
