Job Description
Front-end Developer
Kavi India Software Technologies is looking for an experienced Front end Developer with at least 5 years of hands-on experience building web applications that can grow easily and are easy to maintain, using either React or Angular, with React preferred. The ideal candidate should have solid knowledge of modern UI/UX practices and a strong understanding of connecting to REST APIs, especially with Python-based backends (e.g., Flask, Django, FastAPI).
Responsibilities:
- Develop, test, and maintain solid front-end components using React or Angular, with React preferred.
- Work closely with designers, back-end developers, and product owners to deliver smooth user experiences.
- Connect with REST APIs and work with backend teams to deliver features fully.
- Improve app performance and make sure it works well across devices and browsers.
- Keep code clean and easy to grow, with clear documentation and unit testing.
- Take part in code reviews and offer technical guidance when needed.
- Find and fix complex front-end issues and suggest reliable solutions.
- Stay up to date with the latest front-end technologies and best practices.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- 5+ years of front-end development experience using the latest version of React or Angular (v16+)
- Strong skills in JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3 (SASS/SCSS)
- Good understanding of component-based structure and state management
- Experience with REST APIs and connecting with any backend technologies
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum development methods
Education Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equal experience)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Some knowledge of Python basics for easier debugging and teamwork
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and frontend build tools
- Experience in unit testing with Jasmine/Karma or Cypress
- Basic knowledge of packaging apps into portable (Docker) is a plus
