Role Overview
As a Consultant, you will design, build, and improve custom features in Loan IQ using SDK and Scripted APIs. You’ll also build backend services that can grow easily, and frontend apps that are easy to use, to support commercial lending work.

Key Responsibilities
Design and build custom Loan IQ features using:
- Loan IQ SDK
- Scripted APIs
- Custom Extensions
Build backend services and APIs using:
- Core Java
- Spring Boot
- RESTful Services
Build modern user screens using:
- React JS or Angular
- Enterprise Workflow Apps
- Operational Dashboards
Connect Loan IQ with other systems using:
- REST APIs
- SOAP Services
- XML & JSON
Take part in:
- Understanding requirements
- Planning solutions
- Development & Testing
- Code Reviews
- Launching and supporting the system after it’s live
Work within Agile Scrum teams and help with sprint planning, time estimates, review meetings, and finding ways to keep improving.
Must-Have Skills
- 5+ years of software development experience
- 4+ years of hands-on experience building, setting up, moving, customizing, or upgrading Loan IQ
- Strong skills in:
- Loan IQ SDK
- Scripted APIs
- Custom Loan IQ development
- Strong Core Java coding skills
- Spring Boot & REST API development
- React JS or Angular development
- SQL / PL-SQL
- Connecting different company systems together
- Good understanding of business lending
Domain Expertise Required
Strong understanding of the full loan process, including:
- Setting up deals
- Managing loans over time
- Interest that builds up (accruals)
- Payments
- Adjusting loan terms or rates (repricing)
- Settlement (finalizing a loan)
- Loan accounting
