What You’ll Do & How You’ll Make Your Mark
- Build and support AI agents and coordinators on an AI platform powered by Semantic Kernel
- Build and connect MCP servers and tools using Python FastMCP (core responsibility)
- Set up multi-agent workflows (step-by-step, parallel, and handoffs) with guidance from senior engineers
- Design and improve prompts and prompt strategies to boost quality and reliability
- Help build and maintain pipelines that test and measure LLM (AI model) performance
- Connect LLM providers via APIs/SDKs and support testing
- Help build RAG pipelines using vector stores and retrieval tools
- Add tracking tools like Langfuse to monitor system behaviour and costs
- Write clean, testable, and easy-to-maintain Python code
- Take part in code reviews, debugging, and testing
- Support CI/CD and deployment processes
- Keep learning and applying best practices in AI agent development
Who You Are & What You’ll Need to Succeed
2–4 years of strong Python development experience
- Experience building APIs or backend services in Python
- Hands-on experience with MCP and FastMCP (required)
- Some experience building or testing LLM-powered applications or agents
- Familiarity with Semantic Kernel or similar tools (LangChain, etc.)
- Practical experience with prompt engineering (writing effective instructions for AI)
- Some experience with LLM evaluation and quality measurement methods
- Familiarity with monitoring/tracking tools (Langfuse preferred)
- Understanding of async programming basics
- Experience connecting LLM APIs (OpenAI, Gemini, or similar)
- Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn
- Comfortable working in a remote setting
Nice to Have
- Experience with RAG or vector databases
- Familiarity with agent memory patterns
- Awareness of AI safety and safeguards
- Some experience with CI/CD and Docker
