Role: Full Stack Software Engineer – AI & Cloud Technologies
ROLE SUMMARY
The AI Acceleration (AIA) team in the Chief Marketing Office (CMO) is the main team that designs, delivers, and grows important AI tools for Commercial. AIA works with different Pfizer teams to create and maintain AI solutions that make work easier and add value.
As a Full-stack Software Engineer, you will work on software development tasks. You will build early versions of code, take part in code reviews, break down user needs into tasks, and help manage code delivery. You will learn about Cloud technologies, full-stack software engineering, and DevOps.

Role Responsibilities
- Build complete software products – from designing the systems to launching them.
- Work with other Front-end and Backend engineers to connect workflows from start to finish.
- Build features and fix bugs based on the product plan, using agile way.
- Follow best practices for engineering standards and quality, risk management, CI/CD, and MLOps (managing machine learning systems).
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Data Scientists, Product Designers, UI/UX Developers, Scrum Masters, and business stakeholders to create solutions.
- Find and fix system issues.
- Help improve the team’s best practices and support colleagues’ growth.
- Explain technical ideas clearly to different audiences.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3–13 years of experience in software development and designing various solutions.
- Strong knowledge of application development using Python, JavaScript, Oracle, RDBMS, .Net or Java.
- Experience building with cloud platforms, such as AWS, Azure, and GCP.
- Experience building Generative AI and Agentic AI applications using tools like OpenAI, Gemini, Bedrock, LangGraph, LangChain, Vector DB, and Embeddings is a bonus.
- Experience with Data Engineering concepts and technologies such as PySpark, ETL, Databricks, and Azure Data Fabric is a bonus.
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with engineering practices such as code cleanup, design patterns, design-driven development, continuous integration, building highly scalable applications, and application security.
- Shown history of understanding business needs and designing practical solutions.
- Knowledge of the Agile software development process.
- Ability to understand business needs and create high-quality solutions.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
- Experience in pharmaceutical or healthcare technology.
- Familiarity with compliance standards such as GxP, HIPAA, and data privacy laws.
- Success in deploying AI or ML solutions in real environments.
- Understanding of commercial analytics, medical content, and scientific knowledge workflows.
