The Sales Officer is responsible for generating exhibition space sales and sponsorship revenue from the Indian market for GL Exhibitions’ Saudi Arabia exhibition portfolio.
The role involves identifying new business opportunities, engaging Indian manufacturers and exporters, presenting exhibition and sponsorship opportunities, preparing proposals, negotiating commercial terms and closing sales across MedTech Saudi, LabTech Saudi, Natural World Expo Saudi and FoodTech Saudi.
Working closely with the Business Growth Manager and the Dubai and Riyadh teams, the Sales Officer will build long-term customer relationships while consistently achieving individual sales and revenue targets.Key Responsibilities
· Generate exhibition space sales and sponsorship revenue across MedTech Saudi, LabTech Saudi, Natural World Expo Saudi and FoodTech Saudi.
· Identify and develop new business opportunities across the Indian market.
· Conduct outbound sales through telephone, email, LinkedIn and virtual meetings.
· Present exhibition and sponsorship opportunities to prospective exhibitors.
· Prepare quotations, proposals and commercial offers.
· Negotiate with prospective exhibitors and close sales.
· Maintain regular follow-up throughout the sales cycle.
· Build and maintain an accurate sales pipeline within the CRM.
· Achieve monthly sales, revenue and activity targets.
· Gather market intelligence and competitor information.
· Build long-term relationships to maximise repeat participation and customer retention.Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
· Achievement of individual exhibition space and sponsorship sales targets.
· Monthly revenue generated.
· Number of new exhibitors acquired.
· Proposal-to-booking conversion rate.

· Customer satisfaction and repeat business.Skills & Experience
· Bachelor’s degree preferred.
· 2–4 years’ experience in B2B sales, business development or exhibition sales.
· Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
· Strong telephone selling and relationship-building abilities.
· Experience using CRM systems and Microsoft Office.
· Highly motivated, target-driven and customer-focused.
