This job is about understanding the university’s goals, communication objectives, vision and values and creating strong visuals for digital and print. You will help build the university’s brand and visual message.

Responsibilities

• Designing visual content that matches the university’s brand strategy and communication goals.
• Create brand guidelines to keep the visual style consistent across all areas like schools, events, and campaigns.
• Work with teams like communications and admissions, to design marketing materials for print, web, and social media.
• Make engaging layouts, illustrations, infographics and visuals for brochures, presentations, newsletters, and events.
• Simplify complex academic ideas into easy-to-understand, visually appealing content.
• Stay updated on design trends in education branding, and use new ideas to boost the university’s look.
• Review and guide other design team members to maintain quality and consistency.
• Coordinate with faculty, staff, and students to understand needs and deliver designs on time.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Design, Visual Communication, Fine Arts, or similar field.

Required Skills

• Strong understanding of brand communication and design strategy.
• Experience as a Visual Designer or Graphic Designer, ideally in education, media, or creative agencies.
• Skilled in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other relevant design tools
• Strong sense of fonts, colors, layout, and design.
• Able to balance creativity with the university’s communication needs.
• A portfolio showing brand-focused design work and creative storytelling ability.
• Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines in an academic setting.

Preferred Skills

• Experience designing for schools or universities.
• Knowledge of digital marketing strategies.
