Role Description
The Graphic Designer will work full-time, on-site at the KPR Institute of Engineering and Technology campus in Coimbatore. This role involves coming up with ideas and creating visual materials for institute branding, marketing campaigns, digital platforms, and print materials. The Graphic Designer will design logos, icons, and graphic elements, build layouts for brochures, posters, social media content, and presentations, and make sure brand guidelines are used consistently across all materials. Daily tasks include working with academic and admin teams to understand communication needs, turning ideas into clear visual concepts, improving designs based on feedback, and preparing final artwork for print and digital publishing. The role also includes handling multiple projects at the same time and staying current with design trends and tools relevant to educational and institutional communication.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Graphics and Graphic Design, including developing visual ideas and layout design.
- Experience in Logo Design and Branding to create and maintain a consistent institutional identity.
- Skilled in Typography and choosing fonts to improve readability and visual impact.
- Ability to use standard design software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign or similar).
- Portfolio showing creativity, attention to detail, and experience with both print and digital media.
- Good communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to understand and turn requirements into design solutions.
- Ability to manage deadlines, prioritize tasks, and work independently within an academic environment.
- Relevant diploma or degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field; experience in educational or institutional settings is a plus.
