About the Office:
The selected candidate will work with a Hyderabad-based team that supports the Office of a Senior Minister. The team makes daily social media designs, quote cards, infographics, comparison posts, public information material, campaign messages, and fast-response content about political and government news in Telangana and India.

About the Role:
We are looking for a creative and detail-focused Graphic Designer who can turn political and government information into eye-catching digital designs. The candidate will work closely with research, content, and video teams to make designs for social media, media outreach, public events, political messaging, and campaign needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design daily political and government-related social media posts.
• Create: Quote cards, Infographics, Data visuals, Comparison graphics, Announcement posters, Campaign designs, Event invitations, Festival posts, YouTube thumbnails, Presentation templates, Public-awareness materials, Digital ads and banners
• Turn government data, research, and policy information into clear, easy-to-understand visuals.
• Come up with creative ideas based on instructions from the content and research teams.
• Create designs in Telugu and English, making sure the text is easy to read and correct.
• Keep the brand, fonts, layouts, and overall look consistent.
• Make designs suited for Instagram, Facebook, X, YouTube, and WhatsApp.
• Create fast-response graphics during political and media events.
• Design charts, maps, timelines, process graphics, and topic-based infographics.
• Work with video editors to create titles, lower-thirds, thumbnails, and motion-graphic pieces.
• Resize and adjust designs for different digital, presentation, and print formats.
• Keep files, templates, and design materials organized.
• Help with event branding, tours, public events, and political campaigns when needed.
• Make sure names, dates, numbers, quotes, and Telugu text are all correct.
• Keep up with current design and social media trends, and keep improving the quality of your work.

Eligibility and Experience

• At least 2 years of related graphic design experience.
• Past experience in political communication, advertising, digital media, journalism, branding, or social media design is preferred.
• A strong portfolio showing social media, branding, and information-design work is required.

Academic Eligibility

• Graduates or diploma holders from good institutions can apply.
• Preference will go to candidates from top design, fine arts, visual communication, media, and animation schools, including Tier-1 design schools.
• Candidates from top engineering or tech schools who have proven design or digital media skills are also welcome to apply.
• Candidates from other schools with an excellent portfolio and relevant work experience will also be considered.

Required Skills

• Good with Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator.
• Some knowledge of Adobe InDesign, Canva, Figma, or similar tools is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of After Effects or motion graphics is a bonus.
• Strong skills in fonts, layout, arranging visuals, and guiding the eye through a design.
• Ability to create graphics, charts, and infographics based on data.
• Understanding of digital platform sizes and social media design needs.
• Strong attention to detail, especially with numbers, names, and Telugu text.
• Able to work on your own and produce high-quality designs on short deadlines.
• Some knowledge of AI-assisted design tools is a bonus.

Language Requirements

• Knowledge of Telugu is required.
• Candidates must be able to understand Telugu content used in designs.
• Ability to read and type Telugu is strongly preferred.
• Working knowledge of English is required.
• Knowledge of Hindi is a bonus.
