Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Sales Officer role based in Port Blair. The Sales Officer will identify and qualify prospective clients, present suitable property options, and conduct site visits and property tours. Responsibilities include managing inquiries, maintaining regular follow-up with leads, negotiating terms, and supporting clients through documentation and closing processes. The role also involves updating sales records, coordinating with internal teams and property owners, and staying informed about market trends, pricing, and competitors. The Sales Officer is expected to deliver consistent customer service, meet sales targets, and represent the company professionally in all interactions.
Qualifications
- Strong client relationship and customer service skills, with the ability to understand and respond to diverse client needs.
- Sales and negotiation capabilities, including lead generation, pitching, and closing property deals.
- Good communication and presentation skills in spoken and written English; proficiency in local languages is an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of real estate processes, property documentation, and local market dynamics, or willingness to learn quickly.
- Ability to work on-site, conduct regular field visits, and manage time efficiently to handle multiple prospects.
- Comfort using phones, email, and basic digital tools or CRM systems to track leads and maintain records.
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, real estate, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
- Prior experience in real estate, retail, or financial services sales is an asset; entry-level candidates with strong motivation are also encouraged to apply.
