Overview
Switching Gateway gives one single payment connection that works with both Mastercard and non-Mastercard cards. It’s a simple system that lets people sending and receiving payments — like shops, banks, and processors — connect with others in the payment world. Our team of integrators, analysts, testers, and experts work together to build four platforms that cover the whole payment process from start to end. We’re looking for a Lead Product Manager-Technical to help improve how customers experience our products, by always coming up with new ideas and solving problems

Role
- Help plan, design, and build microservices with your team.
- Build and take charge of full-stack apps and services using Java, and Kubernetes/PCF.
- Write code that is high quality, secure, and works well even with heavy use.
- Take part in code reviews and team review meetings, and submit Pull Requests using Git.
- Work with software engineers, test engineers, TPMs, and PM-Ts.
- Follow 12-factor app design rules in your work.
- Make sure the systems you build follow Mastercard’s engineering rules, including security, operations, and Enterprise Architecture needs.
Required Experience For Software Engineer:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Strong basics in Computer Science
- Strong leadership and teamwork skills
- Experience with web tools, including HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, and front-end tools like Angular
- Experience building apps using Java and PCF
- Experience using storage tools like PostgreSQL or Oracle, and building solutions that work well even at very large scale
- Some experience with automated testing and releasing software often using Git
- Enjoys working in an Agile team that keeps improving
- Wants to keep learning best practices and modern software design, and works well with a team
- Cares about delivering top-quality software to customers
- Great communication skills with both technical and non-technical people
Nice To Have:
- Experience in commercial cards or corporate banking
- Good at multitasking, organizing, managing, and running complex projects, whether doing it yourself or guiding others
- Can work with little supervision and make smart decisions on your own
- Does well in a fast-moving, quickly changing, customer-focused environment
