About the Role

We’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer for our data pipeline service to build and work on data pipelines that move data from various sources to data warehouses. The work is varied — everything from fixing existing software to building new connectors running on our global Kubernetes computing cluster. You will be responsible for making sure your team and the services you own meet a high technical standard, by contributing to the code, reviewing code, contributing to system design, and guiding your junior colleagues.

This is a full-time position based out of our Bangalore office. Our hybrid work model offers a mix of remote flexibility and in-person teamwork, including two days in the office each week to connect and build as a team.

What You’ll Do

You’ll be working with Cloud APIs, SQL, and NoSQL databases, events, and more.

You’ll be working on the core data pipeline that moves large amounts of data from all our customers to their data warehouses.

You will process the data into clean, incremental, automatic updates.

Skills We’re Looking For

• Strong technical and problem-solving skills, with recent hands-on software development experience
• Experience with reliable distributed systems, especially managing large volumes of data within large-scale products and platforms that follow strict service agreements
• Broad technical knowledge covering software development and automation
• Experience using a wide range of algorithms and data structures
• Strong skill working with Java, AWS, Cloud-based APIs, databases, software design, and programming best practices
• An entrepreneurial mindset, excellent communication, and technical leadership skills
• Ability to help build an environment focused on innovation, high productivity, high quality, and customer service
