SMART Application Development: Leverage in-depth knowledge of SMART scripts to develop, enhance, and maintain client-specific applications.
Legacy System Decommissioning: Work closely with the engineering team to effectively decommission outdated systems while ensuring seamless transitions to new platforms.
Code Optimization: Utilize 4GL skill sets to optimize and refactor existing code, improving system efficiency and performance.
Client Collaboration: Act as a technical expert, collaborating directly with the client to understand their needs, troubleshoot issues, and implement tailored solutions.
Cross-Functional Support: Provide expertise across different functional areas, ensuring that SMART applications are effectively integrated and utilized to meet business goals.
Qualifications:
SMART Scripts Expertise: Extensive experience with the SMART application, particularly in the context of a Retailer client. Previous hands-on experience with this proprietary code base is essential.
4GL Programming: Strong proficiency in 4GL (Fourth-Generation Language) programming, with a track record of successful system implementations and optimizations.
Legacy Systems: Prior experience in decommissioning legacy systems, with a deep understanding of the challenges and best practices involved.
Client Experience: Previous work experience with the specific Retailer client is highly preferred, with the ability to quickly adapt to their systems and processes.
Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues and develop innovative solutions.
Communication: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
