Job Title:
Revit Software Developer

Job Summary:
As a .NET Engineer with a focus on Autodesk products, you will develop, maintain, and enhance applications that integrate with Autodesk software such as Revit, Navisworks, and Plant 3D. This role involves building custom solutions to optimize workflows and data exchange between Autodesk platforms and other applications. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions that enhance our Autodesk-based engineering processes.

Location- Durgapur/Jaipur/Madurai

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
3+ years of experience in software development with .NET, with proven experience in Autodesk API integrations (e.g., Revit API, Navisworks API, AutoCAD API ).
Proficiency in C# and familiarity with Autodesk development frameworks (e.g., Design Automation API).
Strong understanding of Autodesk software, including Revit, Navisworks, and Plant 3D, and how they are used in engineering workflows.
Experience with relational databases, data modeling, and performance optimization.
Familiarity with version control (Git), CI/CD pipelines, and deployment practices.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

Key Responsibilities:
Application Development and Autodesk Integration:
Design, develop, and maintain .NET applications that integrate with Autodesk products, including Revit, Navisworks, and Plant 3D.
Leverage Autodesk APIs (Revit API, Navisworks API, etc.) to create custom plugins, automate processes, and enhance functionality within Autodesk tools.
Collaborate with team members to understand project requirements, providing custom solutions that streamline workflows and data synchronization.

API Development and System Integration:
Develop and integrate RESTful APIs to facilitate communication between Autodesk software and other business applications.
Work with databases (SQL Server, MySQL) to design data models optimized for managing large 3D model datasets and engineering metadata.
Ensure seamless data exchange between Autodesk products and other systems, maintaining data integrity and performance.

Autodesk Product Customization and Support:
Customize Autodesk interfaces and workflows to meet project-specific needs, enhancing user experience and productivity.
Monitor Autodesk-integrated applications, troubleshoot issues, and provide support to users working with custom tools and features.
Stay updated on Autodesk’s API changes and new features, ensuring solutions are optimized and compatible with the latest Autodesk software releases.

Quality Assurance and Testing:
Conduct unit and integration testing, specifically focused on custom Autodesk integrations and plugins.
Collaborate with QA teams to develop testing strategies that ensure reliable operation across Autodesk platforms.

Documentation and Collaboration:
Document custom integrations, workflows, and processes for both technical teams and end users.
Work closely with project managers, engineers, and designers to understand project needs and enhance Autodesk-based workflows.
