Job Overview
We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Front end Developer to help design and build modern, easy-to-use, high-quality web apps that support our digital lab system. The ideal person will have strong skills in modern JavaScript tools, a great sense for UI/UX design, and the ability to work on their own while bringing creative ideas to improve our products.
This role works closely with different teams to turn what users need into clean, fast, and flexible screens that support our goal of improving health worldwide.
This job will be remote, from a home office in India.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain high-quality front end apps using modern JavaScript tools.
- Work with Product Owners, UX designers, and back-end teams to turn ideas into screens that work well, are easy to use, and focus on the user.
- Help shape user journeys, prototypes, and how people interact with the product to make it easier to use.
- Share thoughtful ideas on technical approaches, structure, and ways to keep improving.
- Work on your own to take tasks from idea to finished product, balancing creativity with careful, solid work.
- Keep code quality high by following good habits for easy upkeep, speed, and accessibility.
- Connect with RESTful APIs and work well with the teams handling back-end systems.
Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
4+ years of experience in the following:
Front end / Framework Skills
- Svelte / SvelteKit experience is strongly recommended and counts as a big plus.
- People with very strong Vue.js or React experience will also be considered.
- Deep knowledge of building with components, modern state management, responsive layouts, and fast front end engineering.
UI/UX Skills
- Proven strength in UI/UX work, including usability, interaction design, and visual design basics.
- Proven ability to turn ideas, wireframes, and mockups into polished user experiences.
- Strong creativity and attention to detail — able to improve both how it looks and how it works.
Technical Understanding
Hands-on back-end development experience isn’t required, but you should have a solid understanding of:
- RESTful API basics and how to connect with them
- JSON data handling, how requests and responses work, and how errors are handled
- Login and access control basics (e.g., tokens, headers)
- A general idea of how modern back-end systems work

- Able to work on your own and take full responsibility for tasks with little supervision
- A creative thinker who brings new ideas and approaches
- Strong problem-solving skills and open to trying different solutions
- Great communication and teamwork skills, even when working with spread-out teams
