Job Title: Data Entry Executive

Location: Remote or hybrid

Employment Type: Full-time / Part-time

Reports to: Data Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Data Executive Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for entering and updating data into our systems accurately and efficiently. This is a key role for maintaining the integrity of our data, ensuring that all records are up-to-date and error-free. The Data Entry Executive will be working in a fast-paced environment, requiring strong attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Input and update data into databases, spreadsheets, and software applications.
  • Verify the accuracy of data by comparing it with source documents and make necessary corrections.
  • Review and organize data to ensure completeness and correctness.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive data and adhere to privacy policies and procedures.
  • Perform routine data audits and reports to ensure accuracy.
  • Assist in compiling data for reports and analyses.
  • Respond to inquiries related to data entry or record discrepancies.
  • Ensure data integrity and perform backup processes.
  • Perform general office duties such as filing, organizing documents, and handling correspondence when needed.
  • Follow instructions from team leaders or managers to complete specific tasks or projects.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in office administration or data entry is a plus.
  • Proven experience as a Data Entry Clerk or in a related administrative role is preferred.
  • Strong typing skills with a focus on accuracy.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.) or Google Workspace.
  • Familiarity with data entry software and basic office equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain a high level of accuracy.
  • Good organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
