Key Responsibilities
– Design, build, and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and reusable datasets aligned with business objectives.
– Configure and optimize Power BI Embedded capacity, including workspace governance, performance tuning, and scalability planning.
– Gather and translate business requirements into robust data models and reporting frameworks.
– Write and maintain advanced SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and validation.
– Develop scalable relational data models (star schema, snowflake schema, fact and dimension tables).
– Conduct exploratory data analysis (EDA) to uncover trends, patterns, and anomalies.
– Ensure high data quality through validation, reconciliation, and consistency checks.
– Document data sources, KPIs, report logic, and analytical processes.
– Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, Finance, Operations, and Technology.
– Stay updated with the latest Power BI features, DAX enhancements, and BI best practices.
Required Qualifications & Skills
– Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline.
– Minimum 3 years of experience as a Data Analyst with advanced Power BI development expertise.
– Strong proficiency in DAX, complex dashboards, paginated reports, and dataset optimization.
– Experience with Power BI Embedded, Row-Level Security (RLS), and App Workspaces.
– Intermediate to advanced SQL skills (joins, CTEs, subqueries, aggregations, window functions).
– Solid understanding of relational databases and data modeling principles.
– Proven ability to convert business requirements into actionable analytical insights.
– Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and communication skills.
Nice-to-Have Skills
– Experience with Qlik Sense or Tableau.
– Exposure to Azure data services (Azure SQL Database, Synapse, Data Factory) or similar cloud platforms.
– Familiarity with version control tools such as Git.
– Experience working in Agile development environments.
– Knowledge of Databricks or Salesforce Administration.
