Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced UX Researcher/ Research Lead to join our dynamic design agency team, based in Mumbai, India. If you are passionate about human behavior and enjoy working at the intersection of design and research, this role is for you.

The ideal candidate will have a background in Psychology, Sociology, Cognitive Science, Anthropology, HCI, or related fields and possess excellent skills in both qualitative and quantitative research methods.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end UX research efforts across multiple projects, from planning to reporting.
  • Conduct user interviews, fieldwork, and usability testing to gather actionable insights.
  • Analyze and interpret qualitative and quantitative data to identify user pain points, behaviours, and trends.
  • Synthesize research findings into personas, journey maps, and actionable recommendations for design and business teams.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including designers, ux writers, product managers, and developers, to align research insights with business goals.
  • Prepare and deliver detailed research reports and engaging presentations to clients and stakeholders.
  • Stay up-to-date on emerging UX trends, research methodologies, and tools.
  • Ensure research activities align with ethical standards and protect user privacy and data confidentiality.

Requirements:

  • 3-4 years of hands-on experience conducting UX research, with a portfolio demonstrating impactful work.
  • Strong expertise in mixed-method research approaches.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into strategic insights.
  • Excellent communication skills—both verbal and written—enabling effective storytelling and presentation of research findings.
  • Proficiency in UX research tools and data analysis software.
  • Master’s degree or equivalent in Psychology, Sociology, Cognitive Science, Anthropology, or related fields.
