Key Functions & Roles of the Candidate:
Create WordPress theme from html template.
Plan and create appropriate data structures (custom post types, taxonomies etc) as per the website requirement
Create WordPress plugins.
Install and configure popular plugins for common functionalities.
Co-ordinate with design team for html and graphic design.
Specific Skill Set:
Expertise in WordPress theme framework.
Good command over php and object oriented programming.
Good command over JavaScript & css.
Hands on experience in deploying sites to servers.
Basic SQL knowledge and familiarity with php My admin.
