Key Responsibilities
– Develop and maintain scalable backend services and APIs for web applications.
– Build robust server-side applications using Node.js or Python.
– Integrate AI/ML capabilities and third-party APIs into products.
– Design and manage RESTful APIs and microservices architectures.
– Collaborate with frontend developers to ensure seamless backend–frontend integration.
– Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and security.
– Debug, test, and maintain production-quality code.
– Contribute to backend architecture design and system workflows.
Required Skills
– Strong knowledge of Node.js or Python.
– Understanding of backend architecture and API development.
– Experience with REST APIs and database integration.
– Basic familiarity with frontend technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or React).
– Working knowledge of Git and collaborative development workflows.
– Strong problem-solving ability and commitment to writing clean, maintainable code.
Good to Have
– Experience with AI APIs such as OpenAI, LangChain, or similar tools.
– Knowledge of databases such as MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
– Understanding of authentication systems (JWT, OAuth).
– Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Vercel.
– Familiarity with Docker or microservices architecture.
– Portfolio or GitHub with 2–3 real-world projects.
