Role Title: Lead Software Engineer

Education and Experience:
Required:
- 8+ years software development experience that includes:
- Deep knowledge of how different systems connect (integration patterns)
- Good understanding of cloud-based systems, microservices, and API design — including their pros and cons
- Experience with Java, NoSQL, Spring Boot, WebFlux, Kafka, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms
- Experience with DevOps — things like CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, logging, and service mesh tools
- Strong understanding of APIs, back-end systems, databases, and overall tech infrastructure
- 4+ years hands-on experience with development tools
- A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience/certification
Preferred:
- Experience leading complete, connected software integration projects for large businesses
- Experience with AWS Solutions Architecture
- Experience designing application platforms
- Experience with hotel/booking systems is a bonus
- Experience with advanced design methods like Domain-Driven Design, Event Sourcing, and CQRS
- Experience applying industry best practices to build microservices
- Experience leading cloud-based app development using Play, Akka, or Spring Boot
- Working knowledge of DevOps, containerization, and CI/CD pipelines
- Able to analyze requirements, review technical designs, and create high-level solutions
- Experience working in agile teams with both local and remote/international members
- Results-driven, with proven experience leading technology projects
Education and Certifications:
- A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
