About the Role

As a Senior Software Engineer, you’ll bring strong technical skills and great mentoring abilities. You’ll be seen as a leader in your area, helping across the whole process — from building the product to running it live. You’ll work closely with a Tech Manager to guide a team of engineers through their daily work, and be the main go-to person when production issues come up. You’ll be part of an agile release team and may need to be available for urgent on-call support sometimes. As a Senior Engineer, you’ll be the main person responsible for keeping production systems running well.

 Key Responsibilities

• Actively take part in agile team meetings
• Provide mentorship and train your engineering team
• Perform and manage engineering tasks to keep things production-ready
• Work closely with global teams to build effective tech solutions
• Research and help fix issues and improve performance
• Conduct research new tools and guide product development
• Be the go-to person for urgent issues and join on-call rotations
• Actively monitor key metrics and report on trends
• Take part in our engineering knowledge-sharing community
• Help automate and manage production-level systems
• Contribute design projects and make sure they follow proper standards
• Monitor system reliability to make sure customers have a smooth experience

Qualifications:

• A bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or similar is preferred — but strong real-world experience counts too.

Required Technical Skills:

• 10–12+ years of full stack engineering experience
• 6+ years with Angular/AngularJS
• 6+ years with HTML, CSS, and writing code that works across all browsers
• Solid understanding of AJAX, JavaScript, and Bootstrap (2+ years with Bootstrap)
• 6+ years working with REST APIs
• Basic experience with testing tools like Cypress
• Hands-on experience building complex Angular apps (directives, controllers, services)
• Strong knowledge and working experience with java
• Strong experience designing apps using Spring Boot and Java microservices
• Strong experience with cloud tech like AWS Lambda and AWS S3
• Strong experience with data tools like Kafka
• Strong knowledge and working experience with API based system design
• Strong experience with databases like Postgres and MongoDB
• Strong experience with Kubernetes and container management
• Strong hands-on experience building CI/CD pipelines
• Able to quickly learn new cloud/IT technologies
• Good experience with Agile methods and tools like Jira and Confluence
• Bonus: experience with Terraform and Airflow
• Bonus: experience with Snowflake, ETL, and optimizing SQL for large datasets
