Full-stack development for AI-enabled business applications

As NKT continues its growth journey, more tenders and projects will run in parallel creating a clear need for scalable IT solutions across the organisation. In this role, you will build and maintain end-to-end applications within AI Digitalization, working with modern frontend (Vue, React) and backend services (Python) to support data, AI, APIs, and system integrations. Build scalable applications across frontend, backend, and data

You will develop, deploy, and maintain system applications that support AI Digitalization needs in a global environment. The work spans the full stack—from database and data pipelines to APIs, services, and user interfaces—so you can turn requirements into efficient system solutions while applying secure and maintainable engineering practices.

Your responsibility will be to:Analyse business requirements and define feasible end-to-end solutionsDesign, develop, and maintain frontend applications using Vue and ReactBuild backend services and APIs primarily in Python, with flexibility for .NETWork across database, data pipelines, APIs, services, and UI componentsDeploy and maintain applications, supporting integrations and containerisation

You will report to the Head of AI Digitalization and collaborate with data scientists and engineers, Global IT, and Business Lines. Location: G3C Chennai. International travel may occur for training.

You also have:10–15 years of relevant software development experienceFrontend development experience with Vue and/or ReactBackend development experience with Python (primary) and API developmentExperience with Docker / containerisation and application deployment
