Human Resources Assistant/Coordinator (Remote, ET time zone)
Location: Remote and flexible
Working schedule: Mon-Fri 8 AM-4PM Eastern Time

Core responsabilities:
- Organize and maintain personnel records, enter new data, and update previous contractors data in internal HR databases.
- Review, revise, and update company policies.
- Prepare various HR documents, including new hire guides, contracts, compensation lists, and more.
- Design and execute on the recruitment processes, and if needed cooperate with the external recruiters, talent acquisition specialists.
- Review, revise and update the on-boarding process.
- Execute on-boarding of new contractors.
- Design off-boarding processes.
- Execute the off-boarding processes.
- Review, revise and update the performance tracking system.
- Conduct regular performance reviews for all team members.
- Cooperate with the payroll department by providing them with up-to-date information required for the compensation payment: overtime hours, work schedules, and more.
- Answer any team members queries about people or HR-related issues, and help them resolve them internally.
- Create regular presentations and reports on HR metrics.
- Cooperate in creating company culture.
- Design and lead weekly team building meetings.
- Take an active part in HR projects, such as job fairs, recruitment rounds, and more.
- Participating in designing HR and recruitment software of the organization.
- Assist the leadership managing and administrating the HR budget.
- Potentially, recruit and manage their own HR Assistant.
Fundamental requirements:
- You have Bachelors or master’s degree in a field related to the role, or equivalent experience.
- You have a minimum 3+ years of continuous experience as as HR Assistant, Manager, Coordinator, Recruiter, Talent Acquisition Specialist or similar.
- You have at least 1 year experience of working in a start-up.
- You have shown the ability to build and manage relationships with people, internally and externally
- You have great strategic instincts and can exercise good judgment in ambiguous situations
- You’ve been successful in negotiating a broad set of different types of service provider contracts
- You’ve been successful in resolving workplace issues
- You have a demonstrated track record of identifying the methods of supporting the team members in all the areas in order to increase their professional satisfaction
- You have shown the ability to build the systems and methods to motivate the team members
- You have great interpersonal and communications skills
- You’re intellectually curious and think in a structured way
