Key Responsibilities
– Develop and maintain custom Android Services optimized for long-running background execution
– Handle system-level permissions, including Usage Access and overlay permissions
– Integrate and work with Google Health Connect APIs
– Build high-performance, real-time Android UIs connected to Firebase Firestore
– Bridge native Android functionality (Kotlin/Java) with cross-platform frameworks such as Flutter or React Native
– Debug system-level issues using logs and performance profiling tools
– Ensure stability, security, and efficiency across Android lifecycle states
Required Skills & Qualifications
– Strong proficiency in Kotlin or Java
– Solid understanding of the Android lifecycle, background execution limits, and services
– Hands-on experience with Firebase (Firestore & Authentication)
– Ability to analyze logs and troubleshoot performance bottlenecks
– Familiarity with Android permissions, foreground/background constraints, and system behavior
